CHECK OUT OUR PROGRAMS!!!

PoCoMo offers programs that are PROVEN and EFFECTIVE in connecting with and egaging a population of youth that are often usafe and unconcservative.

PoCoMo offers two very unique and different school programs. The following programs grew out of our experiences and learnings through our award winning mobile outreach program, Project Reach Out.

WE ENGAGE YOUTH IN CONVERSATIONS ABOUT SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, CHOICES, STREET SAFETY, YOUTH ISSUES, AND THEIR DREAMS.

Each program was created in response to the needs of youth in our communities. Our programs build connection and empathy and are a natural fit with BC H.A.C.E. (Health and Career Education) curriculum. Facilitated by a team of adult and youth presenters, some with street outreach experience, provides a value added benefit to our programs.

NOTE: Our programs are flexible and can be offered after-school.

I AM The Change

I AM The change is an 8-week program that creates circumstances and opportunities for participants to learn strategies and tools that will assist them in understanding and implementing change. The program focuses on three areas of change, personal, school and community. IAC also incorporated anti-bullying strategies that help youth focus on "compassion", "Kindness", and strategies to assist them in avoiding, and preventing bullying.

The program is adaptable to accommodate individual classes or pre selected participants.

Coming Soon. A new look at adressing bullying.

iCARE is a school presentation focussing on COMPASSION, ACCEPTANCE, RESPECT, EMPATHY. The presentation explores the questions, "How do we choose to live in the world?", "What can "i" do to contribute the the world where all feel safe, loved and celebrated.

We believe that it is important to change the language we use, how we use it, and ultimately creating more positive behaviours and actions.
